Cookie Monster has been seen on Sesame Street since 1969, and has gained lots of popularity.

  In this photo, he sings "C Is For Cookie", from the old school days of Sesame Street. 

Before Sesame Street, Cookie Monster was the Wheel Stealer.

On Sesame Street, Cookie was performed by Frank Oz, but now by David Rudman.
