Welcome to a new blog post from The Magnifecent Muppenators. Today's blog post is called The Muppet Collection of Ruby  C. Snelson - Part 1: Tickle Me Elmo. There will be a photo gallery at the end.

I was 2 years old when I first got Tickle Me Elmo (TME). My dad got him from H. E. B. for me and my sister, Emme. TME is one of the Elmo plushes in my Muppet collection. I still have him. TME is the same as the real Elmo, as performed by Kevin Clash on the PBS children's television show Sesame Street.

The toy company that made TME is called Tyco.

Weekly Wacky Wonderful Walter Wednesdays - Part 2

Today, Dear Roobert Fridays is over, but we still will do Weekly Wacky Wonderful Walter Wednesdays.  Today, it is Friday, not Wednesday.

Let's take a look a the book The Muppets: The Movie Junior Novel for today's blog post.

Here's the summary: Walter goes on vacation to Los Angeles with his friends Gary and Mary, from Smalltown, USA.  Walter wants to see the Muppets because he saved money to go to the Muppet Theater.  Walter is The Muppets' biggest fan.  The bad guy in the movie (and book) is Tex Richman.  Walter helps save the day.

Weekly Wacky Wonderful Walter Wednesdays

Every Wednesday, I'd like to feature a wacky, wonderful muppet named Walter.  He is one of my favorites.  

This week, I'd like to show you this image of Walter and also a photo of MY Walter plush.  

Also, I'm going to ask Walter some questions and he can answer them.

Roobert: "Hey, Walter.  When were you introduced to the Muppets?"

Walter: "On November 23, 2011 I appeared on a new movie called The Muppets."

Roobert: "Who did you star with?"

Walter: "Jason Segal, as Gary; Amy Adams as Mary; Chris Cooper as Tex Richman and Rashida Jones as Veronica."

Roobert: "Who is your puppeteer?"

Walter: "Somebody who starred on Sesame Street, Bear and the Big Blue House and Between The Lions... a guy called Peter Linz.  After Jim Henson died, Steve Whitmire, the new puppeteer for Kermit, asked Peter Linz to take the role of a new muppet called Walter.  That's Me!"

Roobert: "Can we introduce a picture of the plush version of you?" 

Walter: "Sure!  No problem.  Any time you want."
