Julie's Greenroom; Everything You Need to Know about Episode 1

Do you like Netflix, Julie Andrews, and the Jim Henson Company? If so, you're going to love this news. In March, Netflix released Julie's Greenroom, a 13-episode show all about the performing arts. 

In the show, Ms. Julie (Julie Andrews), runs a theater company with her very able assistant Gus (Giullian Yao Gioiello). They plan to do The Wizard of Oz, but at the moment the new kids, or "Greenies" come in, there is a burst pipe which will not let them do the show. Luckily, with help from special guests like Idina Menzel, Joshua Bell, and David Hyde Pierce, they have the strength to make up their own original musical. 

Besides Julie Andrews and Giullian Yao Gioiello, the cast also includes Tyler Bunch as Hugo, a multitasking duck, John Tartaglia as Hank, an expert pianist, Dorien Davies as clumsy and cute Fizz, Stephanie D'Abruzzo as Peri, a natural singer and dancer, Jennifer Barnhart as Riley, who loves everything technical, Frankie Cordero as Spike, a seeker of words, and John Kennedy as Toby the dog. 

I highly recommend checking it out if you are interested in or teaching the performing arts!

Today I have two very special announcements.

Today I have some very special announcements to give. September has been a really good month to be thankful for the Muppets. Of course, it means Jim Henson's birthday, but today I'm giving you a peek on the stuff that's happened at the Center for the Puppetry Arts.

Breaking News from the Muppet World: Friday, May 27

Here is a Muppet News Flash!

In case you haven't heard, Sesame Street is moving to HBO, after running for over 45 years on PBS. If you're disappointed about this, don't worry, because the show still be running on PBS. Meanwhile, small changes will be made for the show when it runs on HBO.

The small changes are not that small. A new theme song, plus and an ending theme, and a new cast member are just some of the changes we're gonna see in season 46. 

In Muppets news, a new Muppet book is coming soon. If you're a fan of the hugely popular Mad Libs franchise, then this book is just for you.

                                                             

May I present to you...... Muppet Mad Libs! This book will be out on October 25, so this fall look on your bookshelves for Muppet Mad Libs.

Muppets and Star Wars: How Famous Puppets Relate to a Galaxy far, far away..

The Muppets haven't been in the Disney market for two reasons; the new Muppets show is canceled, and Star Wars. Of course, we all know that Frank Oz is responsible for the life and breath of Jedi Master Yoda, but one time I went to my local Disney Store, there was NO Muppets. Everywhere! NO Muppets. Not a single sign. Even though, I am so grateful for the folks at Diamond Select Toys for keeping the Muppet fandom alive. Star Wars is very popular right now, so I've compared the stars of the new Star Wars movie to Muppets. Enjoy! These pictures are courtesy of StarWars.com.

BB-8 : Walter

The way BB-8 relates to Walter is that they are skittish, sometimes easily frightened, and so, so, cute.

BB-8 has a huge part in The Force Awakens, and the same thing with Walter in The Muppets, so they're easily alike.

Finn: Kermit 

Both Finn and Kermit are HUGE leads in their movies, and they always care about their other stars and people always want to see more about them.

Both Kermit and Finn have interesting pasts, whether they are a storm trooper or a swamp entertainer.

Rey: Denise

Denise is very strong when it comes to Kermit, and the same thing for Rey when it comes to Finn.

Both Rey & Denise are very interesting. We haven't learned much about them, but we hope that we learn about them more soon.

Poe: Gonzo

Both Poe and Gonzo are daring and will try everything to accomplish their next feat. They have excellent allys like Rizzo and BB-8, so they never miss a shot.

In this post I will be talking about the new Muppets TV show and everything you need to know about it if you haven't watch the show yet.

I think Constantine should be in the show is the Muppets have something wrong going on with their show and it's all Constantine's fault and when the Muppets find out they have a big battle with Constantine.

If the Muppets have a news segment on their show them the news man would be the perfect Muppets to be in it.

Andy and Randy are twice the mischief they normallly are the Muppets have plenty of mischief to go around!

Since Pepe is in the show then why Seymour be in the show?

And finally I chose Walter because he was supposed to be in the show but he didn't.

Muppet Profile: Kermit The Frog

Welcome to the Magnifecent Muppenators's first Muppet Profile. This week's Muppet is Kermit (because, of course!). 

When you think of Kermit, he's kinda like the Mickey Mouse of the Muppets. He goes through so much in the movies just like a regular action hero.

Kermit is always on different talk shows and ads because the Muppets are so famous.

The Muppet Show is a show where Kermit is very hard-working and proud of his job. Who new he would go back to the business, but this time different parts?

Since Kermit is loved by so many people,,it makes sense that Kermit is the face of the Muppets.
