Muppeteers: The Characters Behind The Characters

Today we're talking about some of the Muppet performers, also known as Muppeteers. First up, Peter Linz.

Peter Linz is the performer of Walter. He also sent me an autograph signed by himself and his major character, Walter.

Next we have Eric Jacobson, shown here with Fozzie Bear. Eric is the new performer of all of Frank Oz's Muppets except Cookie Monster.

Finally, we have Kevin Clash, who, like Fran Brill, resigned from Sesame Street. He is best known as Elmo.

A Little Something About Matt Vogel

Yep! That's Constantine. He's performed by Matt Vogel. He also does Big Bird from Sesame Street. Now Caroll Spinney told Matt when he first met him, "You know "Vogel" is "bird" in German. This might be the job for you!" And while Caroll Spinney did Oscar, Matt Vogel did Big Bird.

It's Not Easy Being Mean

Today we are talking about Constantine! First, I'd like to show you some Constantine photos from Muppet Wiki.

Constantine kinda looks like Kermit, but he has a shorter collar and a mole. In a cast video with Radio Disney Insider, he said "I got the job because I looked like an evil Russian frog named Constantine." Radio Disney also interviewed Ricky Gervais, Kermit, Tina Fey, Piggy and Ty Burrell.
