a frog and his fan

This is another Muppet news flash. Today's Muppet: Kermit the Frog.

This summer I got to meet Kermit. But he did not talk.  This Kermit was a 1970 Kermit on display at the Smithsonian Museum of American History in Washington D.C.

Here are some pictures and a video of how I met Kermit.  My Mom interviewed me about meeting Kermit (until Emme dragged me off to see the ruby slippers that Dorothy wore in the Wizard of Oz... also on display).

Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kermit News Flash from Roobert on Vimeo.

Back home, my mom helped me take a few pictures of my Kermit plushes (and some other Muppets, too.)

Kermit the PillowPet is now in-style! Yes friends, the Disney PillowPets, they caught my eyes! Oscar and Walter look good, too.
Muppet Vision 3-D Kermit looks good with Walter and Hobbes, my stuffed tiger.

In this picture, Kermit is all alone.  The other muppets are watching Kermit pose. I wanted him to stand up, but he couldn't stand up very well.  So we made him sit down.

The Kermit pillow pet (KPP), Kermit, Hobbes, Walter, Gonzo, Animal and Oscar are in this photo.  These Muppets are the ones I like today.  (Hobbes isn't a Muppet but he is in the picture because Walter thinks he is so adorable.)

Finally, we have Animal, Kermit and KPP.  These three boys are SO looking good. Kermit and Animal make a great duo.

Just remember, tomorrow we're featuring Yoda.  Actually, he's a Muppet! You may remember that from Dear Roobert Fridays.  Well, that's all for today.

Walter News Flash: Walter. World Traveler

Here is a Muppet news flash. Today we will put Walter's pictures in Africa (September 4-19, 2013) on display.

If you have any questions, and if you are a new Muppenator (that's what I call people who read The Magnificent Muppenators), please check in through the Muppet Comment Box (the comments section). I'd like to hear what you think.

Walter really looks amazing in this picture.  Down by Mt. Kilimanjaro, my grandfather and I are in the picture, too. It's a really great photo.  It was day 2 in Africa, because we got there at night at day 1.

This is on day 2 of a trip to Tanzania. I really took Walter everywhere.
This is me, my sister and Walter in Babati.  We met a few guys over there.

At the KIA lodge, I put on my jacket, held Water and took a picture with Emme. It's a really great photo! Just like the first one!

This is me and Walter on safari.  We saw giraffe, zebra, impala and a leopard.
Really great on safari! I can't believe Walter only has one eye in this picture. He looks like Cyclops (but Cyclops isn't orange).

Boy I really look like my Mom! We were at the Messarani Snake Park outside of Arusha. I had to close my eyes.  Walter was looking at the barn owls.
This is hot Hot HOT! It really felt like summer. Walter and I were trudging down the desert to have a flamingo picnic.  My Dad spotted the flamingos.  I got really tired, but Walter told me, "Just keep walking!".

I was still trudging off to the truck.  Boy it was so hot.  My feet were the most tired and I could just cry cry cry. Walter was still in the palm of my hand.  I didn't let him fall.

I'm hiding Walter's eyes! He can't see! But actually, it's a great picture at the flamingo picnic.  We were IN the rocks! Boy, did we have great expeditions always.

This is me and Walter in Amsterdam. We left Dallas and went to Amsterdam first. I had a chocolate donut and Walter was in the Muppet bag that I got on the week of my 7th birthday.

Now this is what Mom told me.  She said to have a little nap so we wouldn't get all grouchy.  I put the Muppet bag against Walter so that he could have a pillow.  And then, everything was ok on the plane.

Walter was having a great time with Ernie, Bert, Sherlock Hemlock and Herry Monster.  Because Herry is his second best friend.

At night, in Dodoma, I decided to sleep at Mammaw's and Pappaw's house on pizza night.  Emme and I made fortresses on the patio out of the couch cushions.  Then, we took the cushions into the bedroom and slept there because Mom and Dad wouldn't let us sleep on the patio.  Mosquitos might come and take over Walter! They might stuff out his cotton.

Oh, we are having a great time!  Emme and I are looking good and Walter is straightened up!

At Tarangire National Park, on Dad's birthday, Walter and I had a picture.  We decided to have zebras and elephants in the picture, and even cape buffalo!

Next, we were in Arusha, at Mammaw's and Pappaw's apartment.  Here we are taking a picture on the balcony, with Walter.  I was wearing my new Tarangire shirt that says "Let Us Prey".

Walter is taking a bath in this picture.  My mom and I found out that, throughout the trip, he got so dirty! This is at Dodoma, where Mammaw and Pappaw live.
This is Walter hanging on the line to dry.  He is with our very special Nannie blankets that we got when Emme and I were born.

Finally, Walter is in the sunset on safari on my Dad's birthday.  Boy did we enjoy having elephants in the picture.

And that's the news update.  Tomorrow, It's a Kermit news update and that means a special news update on Muppets Most Wanted! See you tomorrow!
